1. Overview & Acceptance

EasyEcon is an AI-powered academic companion for Economics students, providing structured course mastery, personalized tutoring, and adaptive learning tools. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and LevIT Apps LLC.

By accepting these Terms during sign-up, by clicking "I Agree," or by continuing to use the platform after updates are posted, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms in full. If you are using the platform on behalf of an institution, you represent that you have the authority to bind that institution to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

2.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or security breach of your account.
• You may register using email and password or Google OAuth. We do not store your Google password.
• One person may maintain only one account. Duplicate or fraudulent accounts may be suspended without notice.

3. License & Acceptable Use

3.1 Limited License

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for your own academic learning. This license does not include any right to resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the platform.

3.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's servers, security features, or another user's use.
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform using automated means without our written consent.
• Upload content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party.
• Use the platform to generate content for any commercial writing service or to misrepresent AI-generated work as your own in violation of your institution's academic integrity policy.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the platform.

4. AI-Generated Content

EasyEcon uses artificial intelligence to generate lessons, tutoring responses, quizzes, essay feedback, and academic project drafts. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Educational tool only: AI-generated content is a learning aid and a non-final draft, not a substitute for independent academic effort, supervision, or professional advice.
• Accuracy not guaranteed: AI may produce errors, outdated information, or misinterpretations. You are responsible for verifying all content before relying on it or submitting it.
• Academic integrity: You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content. Submitting AI-generated work as your own may violate your institution's academic integrity policies. EasyEcon does not condone plagiarism or misrepresentation.
• Your inputs: You retain responsibility for the content you submit, including ensuring it does not violate any law or third-party right.
• No professional advice: Nothing on the platform constitutes legal, financial, or professional advice.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

5.1 Plans & Billing

• EasyEcon offers subscription plans (Basic, Standard, Premium, and Gold) with features and pricing as displayed on our pricing page.
• All plans are billed on a one-month duration basis. Access continues until the plan's expiry date.
• Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not store your full card details.
• Unless otherwise stated, all fees are non-refundable once a plan is activated.

5.2 Plan Changes & Expiry

• You may upgrade or renew your plan at any time from within the app.
• When a plan expires, access to gated features is suspended until a new plan is purchased.
• We reserve the right to change pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice. Existing subscriptions remain valid until their expiry date.

5.3 Credits

Some plans include a limited allowance of AI generation credits. Unused credits do not roll over after your plan expires unless stated otherwise. We may adjust credit allocations as part of fair-use controls.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Ownership

The platform, including its design, software, branding, curriculum structure, and features, is the property of LevIT Apps LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or service marks.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the platform, including research topics, questions, and uploaded files. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process it solely to provide and improve the platform's features for you.

6.3 AI-Generated Output

AI-generated content produced from your inputs is made available to you for your personal academic use. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any output before submission. We make no claim of authorship over the final work you produce using the platform.

7. Disclaimers & Liability

7.1 "As Is" Service

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

7.2 Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, LevIT Apps LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
• Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
• We are not liable for any academic consequences, including grades or disciplinary action, resulting from your use of AI-generated content.
• We are not liable for the actions or failures of third-party providers such as Paystack or AI model providers.

7.3 User Responsibility

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LevIT Apps LLC and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your misuse of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

8. Termination & Suspension

• You may close your account at any time from within the app or by contacting us.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the platform or its users.
• Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability) remain in effect.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where LevIT Apps LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue binding arbitration or the remedies available under applicable law. You agree not to bring a claim as a class action or in any representative capacity.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or operational practices. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform or by email and update the effective date at the top of this document.

Your continued use of the platform after the updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the platform and close your account.
